The way of life of private colleges in Bangladesh began in the mid 1990s. Amid that period, the administration felt that the current state funded colleges were not adequate to fulfill the need for tertiary instruction in the nation. Also, to keep up their nature of training, the majority of the state funded colleges in Bangladesh kept themselves specific and thus, every year countless neglected to get conceded into higher instructive foundations.
These issues drove the legislature to allow the foundation of private colleges, and on 9 August 1992, the Private University (Act 34) 1992 was passed.
East West University was built up in 1996 as a non-benefit association. VLSI Laboratory, shared by CSE and EEE offices,
Programming Engineering Laboratory, shared by just CSE and offices.
